  • significantly lower cost than individual psychotherapy.

The deadline to complete the 30-minute video consultation, register, and pay the first monthly installment is Friday, January 16, 2026.

This is a psychotherapy group for individuals who have experienced the death of one or more loved ones at least six months ago and are experiencing grief that interferes significantly with day-to-day functioning, and:

  • have circumstances that increase the likelihood of developing Prolonged Grief Disorder without appropriate intervention or
  • currently meet the diagnostic criteria for Prolonged Grief Disorder

This psychotherapy group is an adaptation of the evidence-based Prolonged Grief Group Therapy (PGGT)/formerly known as Complicated Grief Group Therapy (CGGT). PGGT was modeled after Dr. M. Katherine Shear’s evidence-based individual psychotherapy, Prolonged Grief Therapy (PGT)/formerly known as Complicated Grief Therapy (CGT).
